| FC Rider's Ministry is an outreach to the motorcycle enthusiast, their friends, and families. We hold biker events, shows, meals, and cruises throughout the year to celebrate Christ's message to all people in a casual, friendly setting. Above all, this ministry establishes an open door for those in the biker community who can hear the word of Christ and His message of salvation in a non-traditional setting. |
| FC Rider events in 2009 included cruises to Thurmont, Lancaster, Chesapeake City, and points beyond. |

The parking lot at the Chapel has iced up after the banquet last evening and is quite treacherous. The steps and ramp are clear but parking may be difficult. We are not cancelling the service at this time but use your best judgment if attending. As temperatures rise this morning, we should see significant melting by the end of the Worship service. However, please be aware of the icy condition.
God Bless.

GOOD NEWS FOR YOUR WEEK
TGIM - Thank God It’s Monday!

THE WORD IS: Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land, and truly you shall be fed. Psalms 37:3
THE POINT IS: Some people think that we must do good to prove our faithfulness and love to God so that we will merit His provisions. Not so! That is what the Bible calls works, and even good works don’t work. Jesus made this clear to the Pharisees. The Pharisees were a group of religious leaders—the best of the best. Yet Jesus told them in numerous ways that even their righteousness, the best that they could do, was as filthy rags to God. Doing good is never how you prove the genuineness of your trust; it is simply the by-product of your trust. Here’s how it works. God’s plan for living is simple: trust and obey. Simply trust Him and rely upon Him, by living your life in total dependency on Him. When you’re fully trusting Him, then you will do good. It’s the inevitable result of living a life in reliance upon Him. Because when you’re relying upon Him, you will get what He can do. And that’s always good! Doing good is what He does. God alone is good, which means He is the Source of all goodness. Therefore, only He can do good. But that’s good for you! Not only will He do good to you, but He will enable you to do good. And it doesn’t get any better than that!
THE APPLICATION IS: He assures you that as you trust Him, you will be fed, i.e. He will provide for you! Or as the Apostle Paul put it, He will supply all your needs. Furthermore, your Heavenly Father wants to provide you with a peaceful, pleasant dwelling place. This is the “promised land” that God offers to every one of us—a dwelling place where we can truly live, not just exist. When you exist you’re merely going through the motions, hanging in there, or just barely getting by. But that’s no way to live! Everyone needs a dwelling place, a place where they can truly live. God has provided you with such a dwelling place in Jesus Christ so that you might thrive and flourish. Jesus described this as the abundant life! His stated purpose in coming was in order that we might have life, and have it more abundantly. Now that’s abundant living: dwelling in the land and being fed. The prerequisite—trust and obey!
Have a great week,

Believe it, receive it, print it, post it.
Most of all, live it!
This is really good news, so please pass it on.
P.S. Missions is our mission! Therefore I’m off again to a foreign country Nov.30-Dec.4, 2009. I have been invited to speak as a guest lecturer at The Baptist Theological Seminary in Matamoros, Mexico. I will also be conducting a Bible Conference for believers in the evenings. Pray that our Lord will use this to lay the sure foundation of Christ as our life. May God grant each one to live, move and have their very being in Him! In addition to GOOD NEWS, which goes out to hundreds of people in other countries every week, our web site continues to make an international impact! We’ve made a number of changes to our web site in the last several months. If you have not stopped by in a while, please do so. And be sure to pray for the many people from around the world that are coming to our site. Just recently we added a flag counter and already we have 13 countries represented!
