Friends of FLF ....

We have been having a great time together on Sunday mornings studying God's word together. We are continuing our study of "Worship, Finding meaning in Life". We have covered " Regaining a sense of Wonder" and will continue with "Truth", "Love", and "Security" as we study how Worship is the clue to meaning in Life. This is a life changing study with practical applications to Christian Living and ways that Husbands & Wives can encourage one another. I invite you to join us on Sunday mornings during Discovery Time at 9:30 am.

Prayer and Share will be schedule in the next few days for October ... I will send out an Email as soon as the Date, Place & Time is decided.

This weekend is Bob Scheihing's Black Rock Couples retreat. Several FLF couples will be going this year and they include Tim & Fon, Duane & Val, Matt & Courtney and Nate and Rachel. Please be in prayer for God's blessing to fall on this event.

This Sunday .... As Tim & Fon will be away at the couples retreat .... we will have a guest speaker in our Discovery Time, so plan to be there this Sunday.

Good day everyone!

We are having a wonderful break in the rainy weather and it is a great time to serve, honor, and praise our Lord in the great outdoors. Tomorrow is a BIG day for Fellowship Chapel and I hope you have made plans to be apart of it. Invite your neighbors, friends, family, and any strangers to join in on the fun. We will have music with Refuge in concert, games, food, contests, door prizes, pony & hay rides along with a great message of hope from our Chapel to everyone in attendance. DO NOT let this opportunity for outreach pass you by. This is perfect time, season and reason for inviting those you know who may need Jesus to see what this Christian life is all about! Take a moment to invite someone….this may be your chance to make a mark in their lives that will never be forgotten!

Praise Him….Serve Him…Love Him……..through fellowship with our family tomorrow starting with Discovery Time and ending with the Fall Festival tomorrow afternoon!

As the seasons change I am always reminded of this powerful verse. May we, as the season changes, increasingly be changed into the image of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As we approach this weekend, I want to strongly encourage you to participate in our Sunday events! We will start our pastoral exposition of Romans in Family Worship at 10:30. This will truly be a life changing encounter with Christ in His Word. You will not want to miss one message. Also, we will be having our "Harvest Festival" that afternoon at 3:00. It will be a great time for us to grow in our relationships with one another and those in our community. This is an "outreach" event so please join us as we gather together and make ourselves and our message known. Also, we still need volunteers to partner with us. Again, please do not miss this event!

So, be in prayer for this Sunday, 10/10/10, as we plan and prepare, and come expecting Jesus Christ, by the Spirit, to do a life changing work in your life!

Pastor Mike wants to thank everyone for praying for him. Yesterday, because of extreme pain in his neck he went to the ER at Upper Chesapeake. After seeing Dr. Mark Clough (Charles & Carol Clough's son), an orthopedic doctor, the early diagnosis ia a torn rotator cuff. He is resting at home today but expects to be back in the office tomorrow (Thursday).

Also, on Monday, October 11, Art Wunner is celebrating his 90th birthday. It would be an encouragement to him and a nice birthday surprise, if he received many cards from his church family.

Harvest Festival Volunteer meeting Sunday

Dear Pastor Mike and members of Fellowship Chapel,

With all our hearts, Adam and I send you the deepest of thanks for all your fervent prayers for our health. Adam said he has never been so sick in all his life. It was scary to see him hold his head in his hands and audibly moan, fighting a fever that refused to submit to any medication! Dengue definitely seems to be a virus that he said he would not wish upon anyone. I know the Mathews certainly have seen the worst of it so they know first hand how debilitating it can be.

Through all my Florence Nightingale days I felt so strong and sustained and I honestly attribute it to the prayers of the saints! When Brandon fell sick, it took much faith to trust the Lord, and again, I believe He had nothing short of mercy because our little boy was showing ALL the typical symptoms; yet in two days he was perfectly fine and back to his old self! For once I did not complain about his relentless energy - but I'm back there again! Adam is so much better and his associate just started work again today. Just another answer to prayer.

Adam's mom's calls were such a comfort, and she always reassured us of prayer which really helped! We so appreciated the calls and her putting us on the prayer chain. We are so amazed how the Lord always works things out for a beautiful purpose and we were so touched to see and be at the receiving end of care and concern from our church family here in Delhi and all the incredible prayer support from you - it has been such a blessing!

We send much love and thanks remembering all we whom we met while we were with you…please tell Bonnie and her daughter, thanks for the CPR classes, it boosted my confidence but I'm so pleased I didn't have to put it to use - at least not yet!

May the Lord continue to bless and use you all for His glory,

Larry is on his way back to Indonesia from Germany. He sounded excited every time we were in contact, so I think it was good. I look forward to hearing more details when he's back in country and can skype with us.

Next he overnights in Jakarta, meets up with one of our media team and they go to Kupang to dub the Luke video for the H people. The material said it should take a couple weeks, but his discussions with folks at the conference in Germany suggests that that is extremely optimistic.

Pray for Larry and Nahum as they begin recording, and the coordinators who are lining up the voice talent, helping them practice reading with expression, and addressing other details.

On the home front we need rain.

Hello Friends of FLF ....

Thanks to everyone who was able to come to the Fall Picnic. The weather held out fine with only a sprinkle of rain in the morning. We had a great time together. We enjoyed Pit Beef and Pit Ham along with all the good sides and deserts that you brought. Bob Scheihing defends his "Cornhole Champion" status ... at least until next spring. Roman hovered over the grill until he could sample some beef. The Schmidt brothers led two volleyball teams in a bitter dual for the title of best team. The children were busy enjoying the Bounce House and all the other toys and games for them. We had a few new couples join us for the first time at a FLF event while we missed several couples who could not make it. A few of us watched the Ravens Game on the porch ... close to the food. Pictures will be up on our bulletin board this week.

Bob Scheihing's couples weekend is coming up in October. FLF couples going this year include Duane & Val, Nate & Rachel, Tim & Fon, along with Matt & Courtney. Please pray for these couples during the weekend at Black Rock.

Discovery Time .... On Sunday mornings at 9:30 am .... We are studying "Worship, the Clue to Finding Meaning in Life". We will be in Malachi Chapter 1 this Sunday continuing our study. I invite you to join us for this challenging study in God's word.

There will be an FLF social event in October and a "Prayer & Share" .... dates and times will be forthcoming.

Update on Bill Hill - he had successful gallbladder surgery yesterday (9/27), is home and doing well. Pray he will have a speedy recovery with no complications.

Prayer update

We've been praying for Adam Shew (Charles & Nancy Shew's son) who is a missionary in India. He has dengue fever (the doctors are pretty sure that's what it is) and is slowly progressing. We were also praying for his young son, Brandon, who had the same symptoms as Adam and had a very high temperature. We thank the Lord that he apparently doesn't have dengue fever as his fever broke and seems to be doing very well. Continue to pray for this family as Adam & Brandon continue to recover.

What a mission! I am so thankful for you and for us being co-laborers together as God Himself, thru Jesus Christ and by the Holy Spirit, fulfills His divine plan and purpose.

This weekend presents an amazing opportunity for us at the "Lifehouse by the Firehouse"! Not only will we have our powerful Discovery Time lineup for all ages, but also we will have, during our "Family Worship", two pastors from Haiti as well as George Callister from Grace Mission to Haiti. They will be sharing with us God's Word and what God is doing in Haiti in light of the catastrophic earthquake in 2009. Grace Mission to Haiti has long been a vital part of our Missions Team at FC, so join us for a true glimpse of God's working in our world and our partnership with other believers!

Additionally, this is our "Men's Rendezvous" weekend at Brian Holbrook's. It promises to be a great time for all men as well as young men. Tonight's plans include a special "Fireside" devotion and tomorrow includes not only a great breakfast but also a great outing with "Uncle Ray". Jamaica Trip

Our girls, Sarah, Hannah and Grace along with our daughter-in-laws sister, Kelsea, are going to Jamaica to work in a deaf school for a month. I'll be sending a letter out soon and give you opportunity to invest in this great opportunity to touch the lives of these dear children.

Our Son Stephen

Stephen is now in Afghanistan for a seven month tour. Please pray for him and our men and women who are in harms way for our freedom.

God is moving in such a wonderful way. We've been busy sharing Christ through word and music. Below are some testimonies. There are also many things on the horizon that the Lord is allowing us to do. You'll be hearing of them in more detail as they unfold. Some details below.

Answer to Prayer

Someone has given us a C-Class 1987 Coachmen Leprechaun motorhome for our ministry. (picture on right) Praise the Lord! The folks wanted to remain anonymous, but I'm so touched by the people that God uses to invest in our ministry. It needs a lot of work to make it "road ready". If you'd like to help with this project just designate your gift for "RV".

Testimonies

There was a dear man and his wife that was at one of my services. He had just found out that he had 5 days to live. God used us to encourage this dear couple. They laid that burden down and left rejoicing in Jesus.
One man has been battling many difficulties. He owns his own business and has been struggling because of the economy. He came to the altar and gave his situation to the Lord. He wrote me later telling how God had stepped in and miraculously worked in his situation.
We've seen many receive Christ as Lord and Saviour and also have seen the people of God encouraged and strengthened in their walk. Due to the personal nature of some things I can't mention every detail, but what a mighty God we serve.

Coming Opportunities

Our girls going to a deaf school in Jamaica to minister there for a month.
We have opportunity to send Bibles to a pastor in Africa.
I may be helping Will Graham (Franklin Graham's son) with a crusade (he calls Celebrations) in Belford, NJ
Also the possibility of branching out with our ministry as we are able to get the RV on the road.

has gone to be with Jesus. This dear lady from Maryland has supported our ministry so faithfully. She would cook a good old-fashion meal for us whenever we were in her area. She had the gifts of encouragement, hospitality, and generosity. I grew to love her and will miss her and her faithful ministry to us. Also pray for her family, especially her son Walter who is our dear friend.

…you're taking up too much space!

I guess we are not taking up too much space because we are clearly living on the edge! We have several things for you to pray for!

1. The quote in the subject line was the tag line for a group named eduventure that we've been blessed to know and I think is now extinct. Their fearless leader, Scotty Wisley and his wife, Heidi, just moved back to their Papua where they are starting schools that will meet educational needs of papuan kids and their families as well as build Biblical worldview into kids from the start.

Sunday the family was returning home after a shopping trip to the city. Just so you get the picture, the 'city' is several hours of 4 wheeling drive away and sometimes has Toilet paper in the stores. The 4 wheel drive vehicle was also in the shop for a brake repair. As the family neared home they stopped at the last river to wash the car, cool their feet in the water and play a while after a long drive. As Scotty drove down into the river to wash the car, the brakes failed and the vehicle hit Heidi, running over her knee when she couldn't scramble over the rocks fast enough to get out of the way. Getting her evacuated took 'forever', but she is safely in the Hospital as of this hour. Please pray for her recovery and wisdom for the doctors as they piece her jigsaw puzzle fractured leg bones back together.

2. After being home a week, Lizby has come down with high fever (104, cough, headache and other symptoms 4 days ago. The malaria smears are negative, the bloodwork looks unremarkable but the antibiotics aren't working so we think it is a virus. She has midterms next week for the classes that she's only sat in on once, so she is understandably stressed as well. Please pray for her to have peace and healing! Pray that I'll have wisdom regarding treatment if I should change something!

3. This evening when we went to do evening chores, the baby Giri Raja chicks were dying in one pen. We isolated and quarantined the 4/31 that were left. A vet from the dept of health came right away and examined them. We think it is a viral infection and there is a vaccine available so we have some work to do when daylight comes to disinfect pens and vaccinate the remaining chicks. Thanks again for praying for this project. It is drawing a lot of interest from small farmers, the dept of ag and Community Development folk. We have the next batch of chicks hatching in the incubator as I write, so we are blessed and thankful for God's blessings!

4. Last, but maybe most important eternally, Larry is preparing for a three week trip. He goes to Germany first for a conference, then to a different province in Indonesia to do the voice dubbing for the Luke Video in the L language. This is his first time to do a dubbing. He is working very hard to familiarize himself with the software and equipment. He is feeling very stretched. Pray that Larry will have God's wisdom as he does this project and that he will see tangible evidence that God is bringing all the details into alignment in this project. Pray against any hinderances that would cause problems… i.e. equipment not working properly, power outages, voice talent sick, misunderstandings, etc.

Thanks again for your prayers! We are so glad to be on the cutting edge, even when it feels scary!

Family communication & prayer concerns

The Chapel Office regrets any inconvenience but we will NOT be having "Dinner on the Grounds" this Sunday (Sept. 26) as was announced last Sunday.

Prayer concerns:

Adam Shew (Charles & Nancy Shew's son) is slowly improving from what is thought to be dengue fever with a long recovery ahead of him. Now Adam's 5 year old son, Brandon, has the same symptoms of headache, fever, & upset stomach. Pray he doesn't have dengue fever as he has a rare blood type and is frail physically.
Pray for Bill Hill as he is scheduled for gallbladder surgery on Friday.
Continue to pray for John Carlton who is in rehab from recent surgery.
Pray for Pam Kenley who will be returning home from Florida later this evening.

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to let you know or remind you, whatever the case may be of our Men's Rendezvous this Friday night here at the farm. It will be a great time of food and fellowship. We'll have a bonfire speaker, lots of good food and most people will be camping out here on the farm. Feel free to stay and camp or just come for as long as you would like. The weather sounds pretty good and we ALWAYS have a great time. I look forward to seeing you all here. It is a great time of year for a bonfire/campout and we would love to have ya!!

Saturday morning, Uncle Ray has a special event planned for all the young boys... don't miss it!!

I just ask you to respond to this email if you can make it and I'll get you the rest of the details and I can get a head count for food to Gary as he makes the final preperations.

I promise you ll be amazed at how Gary works "the kitchen" and how this father/son ministry has grown into a great men's rendezvous for all men and boys!!

Please be praying for Adam Shew (son of Charles & Nancy Shew) who is a missionary in India and who spoke at Fellowship Chapel this summer before returning to India. The Shews have received word that Adam is sick with either dengue fever or malaria. Be in prayer that a proper diagnosis can be made with the right treatment, and that soon Adam will be feeling better. Pray also for Adam's assistant pastor who is hospitalized with dengue fever.

We are so happy to have our girl home. She arrived this morning loaded to the gills with American Stuff! Way overweight!!! Guess we've inadvertantly taught her some values about what to bring. Could also have had something to do with the wish lists we sent her with and several last minute requests to bring….____!

By God's appointment, Pak Lipiyus, our boss here in Papua was traveling the same day returning with his wife from a trip to his wife's family. They were able to accommodate Lizby's excess by weighing in as a group and changing her ticket to be on their flight. Space was available since it was Idul Fitri day. (A lot like traveling on Christmas day… everyone who can swing it is already at their destination… minus the storm warnings and flight cancellations due to winter weather) Many thanks to Pak Lipiyus who arranged the changes and took good care of her enroute!

Thanks, too for praying for her! We are so privileged to be part of a team that includes you! We continue to pray that God will manage the remainder of the long weekend and that His will prevails!

To My Friends at Family Life Fellowship .....

I just wanted to up-date you on a few things in the FLF ministry.

Next Sunday, September 19th, Pastor Mike Kenley will be teaching in the Discovery Time on Sunday morning. Please plan to be there for this special opportunity as God reveals his word through Pastor Mike.

On Sunday, September 26, FLF will have a Fall Picnic at Tim & Fon Canatella's house. This is a great opportunity to introduce new couples to this ministry. There are many couples at Fellowship Chapel who are not involved in FLF ... we are missing out on knowing them and their families. For those of you who have been to FLF ..... invite a couple to come with you to the Picnic.

Joel & Kari Schmidt have joined Fon & I to be part of the leadership team of the FLF ministry. They will help us plan the calendar for the months ahead and pray for you. We would like to have at least one more couple on the planning team .... so if you would be interested please contact Fon or Tim.

We need a host for our next Prayer & Share .... if you can host a P&S this month on a Friday or Saturday evening please let me know.

Discovery Time: On Sunday, September 26th .... we will begin a new Bible Study .... "Worship & Service, A clue to finding meaning in Life". As with all our studies, application will be focused on couples and family life.

I also want to acknowledge and thank Mrs. Carol Clough for her continued prayers and interest in FLF .... she has been a faithful prayer partner to each of us in FLF .... and to Mr. Bob Scheihing, my mentor and friend.

How I praise God for His purposes and plans for us, and I thank Him for you and how He is building His body at FC!

I want to encourage you to be with us for a powerful morning on Sunday. In Family Worship our choir will resume, our praise team is prepared, and Jerry Slonaker will be continuing his series on "Spiritual Gifts". It promises to be a great day! Additionally, do not miss our "Prayer Gathering" at 9:30 or Discovery for all ages at 9:30. God is doing amazing things you do not want to miss!

Finally, all men, do not miss our men's gathering in the morning (Saturday). We will have a light breakfast and then have a powerful personal testimony from Gus Verginakis. Gus is highly entertaining, deeply personal, and powerfully spiritual. Trust me, you will not want to miss this opportunity. We will begin at 7:00 and will be done by 9:00. Included in our time will be a season of prayer for our country on this 9th anniversary of 9/11. So, I urge you, encourage one another by being here tomorrow, encourage Gus, and bring your boys and invite anyone you desire. Dear Fellowship Chapel,

Jessie and I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your faithful prayers. Our schedules always seem to stay busy, even when we anticipate times of "slowing down." Jessie stays busy with the three children and homeschooling Jackson, while also finding time to meet with young ladies each Tuesday and Friday as well as preparing for camp. I praise God for the regular teaching opportunities He has given me as well as the chance to get out and meet Thai students on their campuses and spread the wonderful news of His salvation. We hope this update will help you more effectively pray for us, and as always, please pass along your prayer requests to us as well.

Camp is Coming Quickly!

With camp just over a month away, we have been and will continue to be very busy promoting camp at local schools and universities, as well as preparing all of the necessary materials for English classes and for the games and activities. We are praying for at least 80 campers this year, which would be a significant increase over last year. Since we promote the heaviest at public schools, for the majority of the students, our camp will be the first time in their life that they will hear a clear presentation of the gospel. As you can see from the photo, Jackson has been a big help and loves telling the students about our camp. Teaching Opportunities

This past Tuesday, Jeff had the honor of teaching at Bangkok Bible Seminary, introducing the books of 1st and 2nd Thessalonians to the 1st year students. It was a great opportunity to have an influence in the lives of these young men and women that have committed their lives to study God's Word and take their training back to their provinces and local churches.

Over the past few weeks, Jeff has also been teaching 1st and 2nd Thessalonians to Streams of Blessing Church on Friday nights. Our goal is to expand this teaching time to other books of the Bible and doctrines to last the entire year.

New Missionaries Arriving

We are also very excited to have two young ladies arriving in Thailand next week that will be working with us for the next three months. God has placed a special burden for Thailand on their hearts and we are praying that while here, God opens the doors for them to permanently join our staff. Alejandra comes from the staff of Word of Life in Mexico and Bambi from the staff of Word of Life in the Philippines. These two girls have taken a tremendous step of faith and we are excited to see how God provides for them. As you know, it can be more difficult to raise missionary support in countries where many churches cannot afford a full time pastor. For this reason, we have opened a support account with Word of Life for those that would like to help support these two young ladies and others that we pray will be following them. All donations will be tax deductible, just as any other contributions to WOL. If you are interested, please contact me for more information.

Will we respond to a need in the Community?

Fellowship Chapel Family,
Being away for so long this summer, we've been a bit out of touch. But, we just learned about an on-going situation w/ a family in Jarrettsville. An older couple, Thurman and Wilhelmina [Meenie] Ellis are in need. Thurman was a volunteer ambulance/fireman years ago...very involved. Besides answering all kinds of emergency calls in the area, Thurman taught CPR and I'm sure much more...gratis. They live across from the Methodist church in Jarr...at 1585 Jarrettsville Rd, phone 410.692.6236.

Meenie fell and broke her hip but it is healing and she has just now been given permission to start driving again. Sadly, Thurman is well down the road into Alzheimer's. She has been caring for him at home but it has turned into a nightmare since her fall. They are paying for care 24/7 and the figure I was quoted was that they have a $70,000 bill there. Some things are starting to be done in the community...Lions Club is helping, a Shrimp Feast and Bull Roast are to be held this Sat at the VFW on Morse Rd. Those flyers are in businesses in Jarr. Also...donations I'm sure are greatly appreciated.

Since we, of Fellowship Chapel, consider ours to be a community ministry, I am wondering if we as a church would care to get involved? The members of the Methodist church are helping...the Ellis' are or were members there. I talked w/ a friend/member and they are taking meals and trying to minister where they can. But, they are a small church and such things take their tole. Any meal or donation would be of great help...soups, chili and the like are most appreciated because they are easily heated and served. Both are diabetics.

Glad news, Thanks to the Lord, and to you who were praying!!! Lizby has her passport and visa and is packed and ready to come home. She does have some overweight luggage which will become even more overweight when she gets to the domestic ticket over here. Please continue to pray for her but thank the Lord for his answers!

On a Sad Note:

I'm writing about today. It just became sad.

Pakomban, the smiling boy from next door, has died. His father has been dead for a while, and his mother is in the village. Pakomban is being taken care of by his uncle who lives next door.

This boy has played a number of times in our back yard. We have a play area that you kids used when you were young. We've thought about taking the play yard down. It needs paint and other maintenance. But the local kids are glad to play there. They also like to pick guavas from our trees for a snack.

We're sad.

A few minutes ago we heard a bunch of people in our garden. Who's in the garden? When we checked, we found some of the families from next door. There are a number of families living in the group of houses next door and this is where Pakomban lived.

We learned that the boy had fallen out of the tree last Thursday there in our garden and they needed to take the branch that had broken and hurt the boy. We worked to understand what they needed and we let them have the branch.

Wow. In this culture, an uncle often curses a boy when he is not wanted. That is not the case here. But the boy’s mother and family may accuse him. This uncle needs the branch as proof that he did not hurt the boy, but the branch did. The boy didn’t tell his uncle he’d fallen and no one knew that he’d fallen until after he died and a friend admitted that a branch had broken under his weight and landed on his chest when he hit the ground.

We asked if there was anything else we could do. We told them to let us know if something like this happens again. I said we would like to be able to pray. And we really would. Had we known, we would have done what we could to give medical assistance too.

Sometimes life is hard. Di is not licensed as a doctor here, and we usually refer people to a local doctor for care. But maybe if we had known, we could have gotten the boy into the surgery he needed to save his life. The family did not know how bad he was hurt. Di would have recognized the symptoms that told how critical it was to get the boy to the hospital.

Did this boy know Jesus? I only know that many of the families next door go to church on Sundays. And we have shown our love by letting this boy and others play in our back yard. Is that enough?

I struggle with what is really important at times. I spend time with computers and e-mail, and not so much with people. The people will last forever. The stuff will not. Often times at the end of the day, I think I've not spent enough time with people. My language ability is not so good and it scares me sometimes to talk with people when I don't understand some of what they say!

Oh God, can you please use me here? I don't like being afraid to speak. I don't like being misunderstood. Help me overcome my fears, and learn to relate to these people around me. Please love them Father.

Please remember Pakomban's family and relatives. God's timing is always perfect. He works miracles out of misery. He uses death as a stepping stone to wake some of His people to the reality of what is around them. How will my life be different tomorrow as the result of today?

Last night, late by our time, Lizby's visa came through. Today it is being faxed to the consulate in Chicago. Lizby was really on the ball and got her passport sent off to get the visa stamped in. With the holiday on Monday it needs to be finished and in the mail to her by Friday. So thanks for your prayers and keep up the good work!

Lizby leaves on the 8^th and will arrive here on the 11^th of Sept. Pray for journey mercy and safety.

On the home front things are much the same. Teaching classes, working with our media team, helping sick folk, and growing as individuals and as a family.

In the classroom, we are learning about nutrition, for animals, people and plants. It was a new idea that soil needs to be fed in order to be healthy and grow plants. The students are finding a plot of land for us to practice our new sustainable agriculture ideas on.

Today the student's wives learned the difference between legumes and other plants. It was interesting to see that they already knew the basic botanical differences because they all grew up gardening, but they had never realized that legumes are special and we can take advantage of them to increase protein in our diet. Several of the kids that come with their moms to the sessions have the red hair typical of kids that don't get enough calories and protein. Pray that these sessions will truly make an impact on the families so that the kids get the nutrients they need for physical and spiritual growth.

This week on Friday we hope to have a prayer time with several new people interested in the radio station attending. Pray that God will send people that should be part of that project so we can all work together.

Pray, too for Larry who needs to finalize some travel to dub a Jesus Film in a local language and attend a conference on planning Media projects.

Dear Friends of FLF .....

I am looking forward to September .... it is a time for new beginnings and getting back into a regular schedule that includes worship and fellowship. This summer has been great. We started off with our spring picnic then saw the presentation of Joseph at Sight and Sound Theater in Lancaster. We studied the book of Ruth together on Sunday mornings and enjoyed times of prayer together. We shared with one another ... our sorrows and joys. God has been good to us.

I am really looking with excitement to our fall schedule ... but Fon & I are looking for a few couples to partner with us in this ministry to help us seek God's plan for us as we go forward. We envision a leadership team who would meet on a quarterly basis to pray with, plan and critique what we are doing and where we are going. We need a few couples who share the burden and vision of this ministry of "Equipping Couples for Christian Living". If God would lead you to join us in this ministry .... then please respond to this invitation and contact us.

This fall we will be scheduling "Prayer & Share" times, a fall picnic and other social events where we can enjoy fellowship together. We will also start a new bible study for our Sunday morning Discovery Time. We have a good core group on Sunday mornings ... and a good foundation on which to build on. There are still many couples who would enhance our fellowship and who I hope will join us this fall. Most of all, we ask God's blessing and will be showered on this ministry .... it is after all, His work ... our hands.

What a great year we have had at FC as we have continued steadfastly in the 4 revealed "Biblical Functions" of Acts 2:42!

I am looking with great anticipation to our Ministry Year 2010-2011! I truly believe it will be unto God's glory "exceedingly abundant" thru Christ and by His Spirit.

I encourage you to join us this Sunday, as we begin our transition to a new year of ministry here at FC. Do not miss this special time of vision and direction!

Also, Sunday evening we will "unofficially" conclude our summer at FC with a "Snowball Social" at 6:00 p.m. at the Chapel. It will be a time of praise, fellowship, game playing, and snowballs! Plan to join us as we connect as "friends" and deepen our fellowship together.

We have need for several teachers as some of our team are needing to transition for a season and can no longer fill that weekly role. I ask you to pray for this ministry, and additionally, please prayerfully consider what role God may have for you in this vital ministry!

Good afternoon everyone….I am putting together slide show for this coming Sunday and need pictures of any and all activities going on at the Chapel. Whether it be ladies ministry, campouts, AWANA, youth group, Bible study, events, etc…..I would like to include them. If you can reply to this email and attach what you might have (ZIP file if possible but not required) and Ill try and get them into the show. I need these pictures asap and no later than Saturday evening if possible.

Additionally, we are trying to maximize our resources to improve our communications from the Chapel. With this in mind, we are requesting that all announcement requests be into the Chapel no later than Thursday at NOON. This will allow us to establish which form of communication necessary to get the word out. We are committed to making our Sunday Morning Worship communications as “efficient & timely” as possible. Ultimately, this will provide more time for Praise, Worship, and Sermon and possibly shorten the service. It is our intent to communicate via email, worship folder, flyer, banners, website, blog, Facebook , and lastly in the form of a Sunday morning announcement depending on the audience who needs to receive the information. I urge each of you to consider this in the future as a means of increasing visibility for your message and to utilize our resources in the most efficient manner.

Oh, times they are a changin’, ain’t that the truth!

A quick reminder that there is a Discovery Time meeting tomorrow evening at 7pm…..if you are interested in getting information, participating, assisting, backing up, or teaching please make plans to attend. We are in need of assistance with the “Jr. High” segment so please prayerfully consider getting involved in this class.

Saturday morning will be a Deacon work day at the Chapel beginning at 8 am and running until approximately noon. If you can assist in some cleaning up, organizing, shoveling, and general maintenance (pulling wire, light carpentry) please be there this Saturday to assist.

What a verse and what a celebration we had this week at the "Homecoming Memorial" of Louise Wagner! Thank you for the love of Christ expressed thru you, her church family, in prayer and participation in so many various ways!

I want to encourage you to not miss this Sunday at the "Lighthouse" by the firehouse. In addition to our powerful Discovery Time for all ages, we will have a special "Family Worship" centering on Jesus Christ and His work in and thru us in Honduras 2K10, as well as the exciting future we have in partnership with "Compassion Baptist Church" of Honduras. It will be a great time of celebration, information, and inspiration. So, do not miss this opportunity to hear what God is doing in and thru your local family at FC in Honduras!

Thank you all for your prayers for Rachel Canatella, my eldest daughter. She delivered a healthy baby girl on Wednesday evening at 9:51 pm. Charlie Grace weighed 6 lbs, 1 oz ... blond hair and dimples. Fon & I are blessed with six Grandchildren and our family is up to sixteen with the three of our four girls now having children. God is so good. Please keep Rachel in your prayers as this will be a big adjustment for her ....

It is a great comfort to know that our friends at FLF pray for us .... and share our joys as well as our sorrows.

At around 6:30 this morning Louise went home to be with the Lord. Although we rejoice that she is no longer suffering and is in the company of her Holy Father, our hearts are heavy as we will miss her presence with us here. We take comfort in the fact that we will see her again soon.

Even though the hospice nurse has told us for 3 days now that Louise would be going to be with the Lord any minute now, she still is hanging on. The family has spent 3 nights staying together at the house anticipating that Louise would end her journey here, but the Lord is holding off for some reason.

Because of her condition, it has also become increasingly difficult to give her morphine, so there is concern about pain management. If you get this e-mail tonight we would request that you pray that the Lord would take her home. We pray if there is some work that still has to be done, by allowing here to remain here longer that it would be completed quickly and painlessly.

I would also request that you would pray for Valerie, as she is finding this time extremely difficult and has conceded to come home to sleep for the first time in 4 nights.

Yesterday the hospice nurse said that Louise had 24 to 72 hrs left. For the most part she is slipping in to a coma and the restlessness has seemed to pass. She is unable to communicate anymore other than acknowledging people's words by squeezing their hand.

The time has come for us to say our good byes to such a special person. Hopefully the knowledge that she will be with our precious Lord and Saviour and that she is no longer in any pain or suffering will help to ease the grief for each of us. Pray that this will be a time of great peace and that each member will abide in the Lord's ever sufficient love as we are sustained by His grace.

Jonathan left Thursday to spend a couple weeks with his friend David in the village of Kebar. His flight went first to pick up another family that was in their village and that meant his friend Roland was with him for the last leg of the flight. When they stopped to drop Jon off, Roland was spontaneously invited to stay as well, so the three musketeers are together for a couple weeks. These three have been good friends for their entire school career. Anyway.

Tonight I got a call from Jon's host family. Jon has 104 fever and they are unsure what he is sick with. So Please pray for Jon and the host family as they try to take care of a sick kid that isn't their own. Pray for mom, too. It's hard to be far away from a super sick kid.

On a humorous note, We've had the Giri Rajas in a breeding pen and were going to start collecting eggs for the incubator this week. This morning as Di was doing chores one of the gates to the wrong pen got left partially open and the wrong roosters were avid to get into the hen pen. So for a few frantic minutes we were chasing chickens around the pen trying to get the right ones back in the right place. The rooster who was purposely in the breeding pen was faithfully guarding his hens and trying to run off the other roosters from his harem. Thankfully there were three of us working together and order was quickly restored. I was forcefully reminded of 30 baby guinea pigs!!!

One last thing. I, Di, have been having a lot of joint or ligament pain in many joints. I think this is residual from the dengue. Please pray that my body will recover. It is painful to walk, type, use my hands or wiggle my feet. It puts a crimp in my ability to do the things I want and need to do. We've been making a portable chicken pen and its so frustrating to have to stop because my hands won't work right. Pray that I'll be able to walk by the spirit and not carry out the desires of my flesh. Pray that I'll exhibit the fruit of the spirit even when I feel grumpy and sore.

This week I start my new teaching position, so thanks for praying for my classes and students. I'll send a report on that later.

This weekend we have an unusual opportunity to hear Asif Mall, a former Muslim from Pakistan who will be sharing with us the contrast of our covenant God with the Islamic god. It will be an amazing time of instruction, information, and inspiration. I encourage you, do not miss this opportunity, you will go away "trained in righteousness" thru the Word of God! Additionally, if you have any Muslim friends, this would be a great invite opportunity!

Dear family and friends,

June and July have been busy months for us. In June, Jeff had an opportunity to make a quick trip to the US to introduce one of our Board Members, Pastor Ohm to WOL Headquarters in New York as well as help a Thai student, Best, get settled in on WOL Island where she is working for the summer. Jeff also was able to meet with the missions team from New Hope Community that will be coming over to Thailand this October to help with our English Camp. Soon after returning from the US, Jeff left for Korea to speak at WOL Korea's English Camp on "The Voice of Truth." Praise the Lord for the many students made decisions for salvation and to commit their lives to God's service! The day after returning from Korea, our whole family left Bangkok to attend our local church camp where Jeff spoke on James 4:11-12 and also addressed the youth group on Dating Relationships. We are very thankful for the ministry opportunities God has given us, but are very glad to settled back into our routine. Both of us will start back to language school next week.

Camp Scholarships

We are extremely excited about our upcoming English Camp in October and are already busy with the planning and preparation and of course, prayer! I would like to ask you to consider helping to send a student to camp this year for only $50. Jeff teaching English

For several weeks now, Jeff has had the opportunity to teach English to a young lady and young man who are unchurched. During this time he has been able to build trusting relationships with them and share the Gospel quite freely. Several times they would even bring up "Jesus" and ask Jeff questions about Him. This young man now plays soccer with our guys at church every Sunday afternoon and has once come to a Sunday morning service. Please continue to pray for these young Thai people to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ!

University English Club

We are fortunate to live in an area where many schools and universities are located. This has presented unique opportunities to get involved in student ministries. Last year, we were able, along with several university students from our church, to start an English Club at one of the local universities. We had complete freedom to of course teach English and then answer any questions that came our way about why we were living in Thailand and our beliefs!
Now Jeff along with a couple of university students from our church have organized the kick off for this club again. For the first meeting, 12 young Thai people came to study. Hopefully many who join the club will want to come to our camp this October. (Thai school systems are on a different schedule than the US. Schools here begin their new year in June.)

As this week proceeds, please remember Barb Green as she has major heart surgery today. Additionally, continue to pray for the Wagners, Williams, Carltons, and Fletchers (previous attendees at FC) as Louise finishes the race God has marked out for her in faith. She continues to rest and believe even as her physical conditions weakens. Also, please continue to pray for Art and Lynn, for her recovery from the apparent stroke, as well as God's
specific will for the future.

God, the Father, is doing something special here (I pray you perceive it) in and thru the presence of Christ and the indwelling Spirit. Please know my heart of love for you and if I can serve you in any way, please let me know.

Louise continues to be at peace, but her symptoms are increasing daily. She is spending more time resting in bed and has little desire to sit in a chair. She has also been having some mild headaches but is not complaining. Her nausea and dizziness has increased and even with the medication, any motion seems to exacerbate the problem. Her appetite loss continues to grow and yesterday she did not eat at all.

It has become apparent that she can not tolerate a high volume of visitors and/or visits that are long in duration. This is not to discourage visits but I would encourage anyone who desires to do so to call the house first to see if she is up for it. Gwendolyn's children, Paul and Stephanie should be arriving from Georgia in the next day or so to see her. Please pray for a good visit. For those who are not familiar, Gwen was Louise's younger sister, that has since passed away.

Valerie, Vanessa, Vander and Harvey seem to be handling things as good as can be expected. I have been very proud of Val and how it appears her faith has grown in the last few weeks. That said, I don't believe that anyone is ready to say goodbye yet. We trust in God's timing and that it will be perfect and ask that you will continue to pray for Louise and the family as they continue their journey. Please pray that the Lord will minimize any suffering for Louise, and that the family will continue to trust in God's strength and grace.

We covet your prayers and give thanks for each of you and your desire to minister to the family.

There is major progress today on several fronts, so I’m sending this to let you know what God is doing through your prayers and ask you to keep praying this through!

On land and housing and animal projects!!!

ÿ Today we got the Giri Raja breeding pen up and running. Now we wait until we’re sure the eggs are from a particular rooster and then put them through the incubator. We are getting eggs that are full size, so we hope that by the end of August we’ll have new baby Giri Raja chicks from our own farm.

ÿ Today we got confirmation that we are permitted to move to the GIDI Bible School Campus where there is space for our projects and a missionary house that will be vacant Sept 1.

ÿ The Bible School wants help teaching their students about health and sustainable development. The animal projects will continue to be ours unless we turn them over, but they will be used as teaching tools for students that want to learn animal husbandry. So we will retain control of the projects but there is potential for more than 100 students to get practical training in how God designed the world to work and how to care for His creation and manage land, plants and livestock in ways that improve personal and animal health. Income from the projects will help subsidize student costs for the Bible School.

ÿ Di will start a regular teaching schedule with the Bible School students on August 2. She’ll have 8 hours/week of classroom teaching. Courses include:

o Community Development (plus a lab)

o Health and communities (plus a lab)

o Conversational English

o Christian Home (women’s class)

o Health and family (women’s class)

ÿ There appears to be some discrepancy on what land will be under our housing contract and what will be school managed. We need to work that out before we sign any contracts or finalize a move to the school campus.

On Lizby’s Visa: today we registered Lizby as a student at the GIDI Theological School. They have courses in Indonesian Language and culture and she can audit a class on discipleship. That will give her a valid student visa. We’ve sent the paperwork off to Jakarta for processing. If all goes well… we’ll hear tomorrow that her visa process is active again. Keep praying until she gets the visa and is back in Indonesia at the end of her trip. Right now she is driving with her grandparents to her cousin’s wedding in Seattle. Pray for safety and all the last minute details of the wedding preparations.

On the SAHABAT Radio Station:

ÿ We are making slow progress toward getting the paperwork done. One significant hurdle is that we apparently offended one of our key media guys. It’s taken us a month of trying to find an appropriate mediator. Here in Asia, if you have a conflict, you ask a mediator to help you work out the problem. We’ve been trying to work it out ourselves but have not had success. We know this gentleman is Godly and wants to do what is right. The offense came from poor wording in Indonesian while texting him about a problem. He has apparently assumed that we blamed him when our intent was to ask about potential motivations for a different player in the issue. So… we need you to pray that we can resolve this problem and begin working together well again. Cross cultural ministry is full of potenial language and culture faux pas. We really need wisdom to walk in the spirit so that those problems can be overcome and we can work in unity.

ÿ Our boss gave the order today to process the Business licensure paperwork for the station. We hope it will be ready by the end of the week.

ÿ This week, Rachel, a lady with experience in creating radio programming is here. We hope to make progress toward getting our station programming format and production going.

ÿ We hope to put the tower and antenna up the first week of November. SO…. Keep praying that all the steps will proceed apace.

ÿ I’ll be able to give you a Wycliffe project account number for the radio project in early August. Thanks for your patience.

SO all in all we are very blessed and know that God is leading, prepping and strengthening us for the roles he has for us.

Friends of FLF ....

We finished our study in the book of Ruth today during Discovery Time. I hope you enjoyed the study as much as I did in teaching and researching the book. I thank you for your faithfulness every Sunday morning ... you are such an encouragement to Fon & I. Just being with you gives me the joy I need after a hard week of struggle with life's challenges. Thank you for your prayers on behalf of Rachel & Kelly .... my daughters facing challenges in their lives .... as well as for Fon & I. I too can get discouraged waiting on God to provide a job for me. He is teaching me patience and asking me to "Love his Sovereignty".

We will start a new study next Sunday. We can take a look at another "Couple of the Bible" ... Abraham & Sarah, David & Bathsheba, ... or we can look at "Worship, a key to finding meaning in Life", or "Your Eternal Reward" ... all in context with Couples and Married Life issues. If you have a preference, let me know by Wednesday.

If you have never been out to Discovery Time with FLF .... Sunday would be a good time to visit as we start a new study together. I hope you will come. We will miss those who will be away on vacation in the next few weeks .... we wish you a wonderful time together.

If you could pass along. I will be having my fit for duty test this Thursday the 15th at 10:00. It was not going to be until next week, but God in his perfect timing has me going this Thursday. Tomorrow we start the BioSand Filter Workshop. We'll be teaching folk from at least 5 language areas how to use cement and locally available materials to make a filter that will clean their water for drinking. Here are some specific requests.

The Guest who came to oversee this course, Dan D, has succumbed to Dengue Fever like the rest of our family (all 5 of us had it since 2 June) He is feeling very weak and tired. We'll have a place for him to lay down at the conference site, but pray that he will use it and not push himself. We really need his expertise on some of the hands on Technical training.

Pray that the material will be clear and well understood, that the discussions will be lively and helpful, and that the students will truly learn the material well.

Pray for those of us who will be presenting, Rizart, Mia, Isak, and myself will be doing the theoretical stuff. Dan D will have a lot of responsibility for the actual building and making of the molds and filters.

Pray for all of us still struggling with low energy levels.

God bless each of you! We sure depend a lot on your advocacy!

OH By the Way: We signed an agreement between HCJB and GIDI to start a radio station last week. Pray that we'll be able to finalize the paper work by the end of this month. Funds are the critical obstacle in that process.

Please also remember Barbara Green in your prayer time as she is going in for testing and a possible procedure at Johns Hopkins this week.

Pray for a friend of Lee Powell's, Joyce, whose nephew was in a horrible chemical explosion and has not regained consciousness.

Louise's condition continues to weaken. Praise God, to date she has not had any seizures and prayerfully she will stay seizure free. That said the medication for seizures makes her quite drowsy and combined with her weakened state she stays groggy most of the time. She continues to eat very little and has had some occasional confusion. She spends a great deal of time sleeping, but did have a good day earlier this week which Val seemed to enjoy spending with her. Overall, Louise remains very peaceful and still enjoys seeing those who visit. She has been overwhelmed by the love that she has been shown, and frequently apologizes to others for having to take care of her.

Understandably, Harvey is struggling with what lies ahead, but has done a great job of loving and caring for Louise. I think he is doing as well as can be expected of one in his situation. Val and Vanessa have good days and bad, but are trusting in the Lord. They are also doing a great job of selflessly caring for Louise. Time for Louise's home coming seems to be growing close, as the nurse told Vanessa the other day that Louise probably has two weeks left. This obviously was a tough thing for the girls to hear and I am not sure if they have shared it with Harvey yet. Ultimately we trust in the fact that only the Lord knows the timing.

I thank those who have prayed for how I would tell the kids about the situation. The Lord answered and provided an opportunity for me to talk to Benjamin about Louise. It was a tough moment, but he handled it well holding back most of the tears. He seemed to be comforted by the fact that he will see his Grammy again and in the light of eternity the absence would be brief. Val said that he did break down some later that night, but as usual God's grace prevailed. We have decided not to attempt to explain it to Josh as it would probably confuse him more than help.

I thank each of you again for your prayers for Louise and the family as they are quite evident. Please continue to pray that Louise will remain at peace through it all, and remain seizure free. Also pray that Harvey and children will continue to look to the Lord for His sufficient grace and peace. Pray for continued spiritual growth for all of us during this time. Lastly, pray that the Lord will continue to be glorified through these trials.

Please be praying for the McAndrew family as Linda's father passed away last night. Linda's father lived in the Pittsburgh area and all funeral arrangements will be there.

Also Maureen Carey has asked us to pray for her grandniece, 8 year old Olivia Dean. Olivia has been diagnosed with having an inoperable small tumor on her pituitary gland. Pray for wisdom for the doctors to know how to treat her.

FREEDOM FOR ONE AND ALL

July 4, 1776 is known as “Independence Day” in the United States of America. It marks this country’s freedom from the old ties to the old life in the old world. As citizens of the United States, we now have new ties to a new life in the new world. It truly is a blessing to be able to live in “the land of the free and the home of the brave.” We should always be grateful for those who died to make this freedom possible! The Statue of Liberty in New York harbor stands as a monument to that freedom. This monument, as well as Independence Day itself, serves as an important reminder of the precious freedom we enjoy in this country. Thank God for our freedom as a nation!

But there is an even more all-encompassing independence day which brought freedom to all humanity. It occurred the day that Jesus Christ died upon the cross. The cross has been appropriately described as the Christian’s Statue of Liberty. Jesus Christ liberated us from our old ties to an old life in Adam, in order that we might have new life in Christ. As Christians, we are now citizens of God’s Heavenly Kingdom.

Freedom Is Not Free

Jesus Christ paid the supreme price for our freedom by offering Himself as a sacrifice on our behalf. The crucifixion of Jesus Christ was God’s way of destroying our old ties to Satan that existed in Adam. He defeated Satan upon the cross in order that you and I might be delivered from Satan’s dominion. “Having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it” (Colossians 2:15).

The triumph of Christ over the powers of darkness made your deliverance possible. “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son” (Colossians 1:13). When you became a child of God, you were delivered from Satan’s dominion and joined unto the Lord Jesus Christ.

During the time you were in Adam, sin reigned in your mortal body. That is, Satan ruled your life. However, through the cross, God made it possible for you to be separated from your old heritage in Adam to a new heritage in Christ.

Our Lord’s death unto sin was God’s provision for all mankind to be liberated from Satan’s dominion. Through the cross, you were separated from the evil nature of your father the Devil. The old person you were in Adam was crucified. That person is dead. Since your old life is dead, it is gone. That’s not you anymore. You are a new person, with a new life in Christ.

Free Indeed!

When Christ died, you died with Him. Therefore, you have already been crucified with Christ. This is a past tense event with present tense results. It's a done deal.

The cross is a finished work. It covers you completely. There is nothing left to be done. The efficacy of the cross covers your past. You are free from the penalty of sin and the punishment of hell. It covers your present. You are free from the power of sin—Satan’s evil nature dominating your life. And it covers your future. When you die, you will spend eternity with the Lord in Heaven, permanently removed from the presence of sin.

Since the Son therefore has made you free, you are free indeed (John 8:36). You’ve been liberated! You are free from Satan’s bondage. You are free to be all that you were meant to be as a new creation in Christ.

It is time for you to make your declaration of independence. This requires a faith transaction. Simply agree with God about the truth concerning your own self. A good confession would be to say with the apostle Paul, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). When you do, you will begin to experience a truly transformed life. And that’s what freedom is all about. It’s the freedom to be yourself—the unique person God made you to be. Now that’s true freedom!

On this 4th of July 2K10, as we celebrate our national freedom, we will be celebrating in a special way, our spiritual freedom in, thru, and by Jesus Christ!

Our celebration Sunday will begin with a time of prayer at 8:30 a.m. in the "Resource Center". I strongly encourage you to join us this weekend, as we pray together, in response to God's command and in accord with His Word in I Timothy 2:1-3 . . .

"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,

for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable live in all godliness and reverence.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior."

Seize the moment and make the most out of this July 4th as we pray for God to powerfully work in and thru us to our nation!

We will continue our "Freedom Celebration" in Discovery Time with a special time for our graded classes you will not want to miss! Also, our adult "r12" class will view this week (and next) a video from "Wallbuilders" entitled "Americas Godly Heritage". It explains the beliefs of many of our Founding Fathers and the vital role of Christian principles in the affairs of our nation. This is a do not miss, so plan on joining us in the auditorium at 9:30 a.m.

Climatically our "Freedom Celebration" will include our "Family Worship" at 10:30. As our centerpiece, we will celebrate Jesus Christ around the celebration of the Lord's Table and remember Him and Him making us "free"! It will be a Communion to remember as we have a special setting to this celebration. Also our time will conclude with Steve Tecklenberg leading us in some "Patriotic Selections"!

So, this 4th of July, plan on beginning your day with us for a very unique and special spiritual and national celebration.

I missed you deeply last week and look forward with great anticipation to seeing you Sunday!

Please be in prayer for Micah Yousefi as she is scheduled to leave tomorrow (Friday, July 2) for South Korea, on a Fulbright Scholarship. Pray for her safety not only in traveling but also while she is there, that everything she is taking will get through with no problem, and that she will be able to make contact with a Christian group she knows about through Charles Clough. Micah will be teaching English as a second language as well as music.

Also, remember this Sunday is the last day to bring the first aid supplies for the mission trip to Honduras (July 9-17). Those supplies include:

Neosporin (or generic antibiotic cream)
Bandaids
Alcohol wipes
Hand wipes
Hand sanitizer (travel isze)
Tweezers
Thermometers
Hydrocortisone cream
or cash for the purchase of these items.

Hopefully there will be enough items to build 25-30 simple family first aid boxes.

Dear Tim and Fon,
Can you keep us and our Dear friend David in your Prayers.
Our friends David and Rosemary live in Annapolis and I received a call around 8pm to Pray for her...an hour later the hospital was calling John and I to get to the hospital to be with David. She had passed away.
We were in Annapolis till about 5 this morning and planning several more trips there in the coming days.
She had just turned 49 and they are doing an autopsy to determine the cause because there had been no previous signs of health issues. We are thinking it may of been a blood clot.
So many of us are in shock right now .... I was just with her Monday and the 4 of us had plans for this weekend and now new plans have to be made.
She was a believer and we know she is present with the Lord right now, but there is a wake of sadness here on this earth.
